04. THE DESIGNER – Henry Swanzy · Founder, Leandesk
Henry Swanzy
“My design is all about paring down to the essential elements and being as efficient, material-wise, as possible. I think Leandesk offers something new — a chance to reclaim your space from the workday, without compromising on creativity, comfort or conscious design.”
– Henry Swanzy · Founder, Leandesk
Trained in furniture and cabinet-making, Henry’s ethos is rooted in doing more with less. Henry founded Leandesk to question what an office desk really needs to be, and how our homes have adapted to new working practices. The result is a desk that weighs almost nothing, costs almost nothing in carbon, and disappears when work is done — without compromising on rigidity, comfort, or beauty.
