Lean has been the perfect addition to my home office set up. Instead of being couped up in the spare room, I can now re-locate around the house, with the flexibility to sit or stand whilst working. Plus, it looks great!

  2. Carl Winterbourne

I’ve enjoyed having the option to sit or stand while working. In my job I do a lot of presenting and it helps to stand while doing this, but then having the option to sit when I want to relax more. I like that it’s easy to store and can be out of sight when not I’m working.

The adjustable height feature meant that I could get the perfect sitting/standing position. As long as you have a comfortable chair, I can’t see how the experience would be uncomfortable (unless you’re using it wrong).

I have never worked at a standing desk before I used lean. But now having done it a few times I see the benefits of standing vs sitting. As I said before, I think standing for presentations helps you look and feel more alert.

With next to no assembly required, the Lean desk was an instant hit in our household. The adjustable nature of the design meant that I could mix up my working from home routine and feel more alert. The easy storage was a big advantage, especially over traditional desks that take up lots of space.

It’s taken some time for people to break the habit of being ‘own’ desk in the office environment. It takes quite a while for anyone to get out of that mindset of just sitting at the same desk all day and finding the right ‘occasions’ for using a stand-up desk.

The Lean Desk was a great addition to our office. It enabled anyone who wanted a change of scenery or who wanted a different working position to simply set themselves up.

It was very easy to set-up and simple to adjust for anyone. This made it very versatile and allowed us to move it around the office to different locations depending on use.

  4. Tom Maurice

As I put it up at work pretty much everybody in our 40 person studio came to have a look, and there was not a single negative comment, mostly just ‘oh, I’d love one of those at home’ ‘that’s so lush’ ‘oh, that is stunning’ ‘I could use that in my tiny flat – soooo cool’ ‘want one, want one, want one’ etc.

Super easy to adjust, easy to adapt it to the environment, easy to get it to a standing level / seating level. The sturdiness is great – full confidence to lean on it and rest weight on it.

At the moment it is being used as a hot desk when we have too many people in, and also by people who work on laptops who want to stand and work for a bit.

I just love the Lean. Simple, beautiful design, expertly made. If you are short of space, want versatility when you work, like to stand and work or are simply a lover of beautiful furniture then this is for you. I never thought it would be a pleasure to be at my desk, but with the Lean, it is.

  5. Nicola Rellie

I think it’s very versatile in where it can be used, serving as either a permanent or temporary feature. My workplace has recently implemented stand-up desks to optimise space utilisation and create additional breakout areas for staff. I think they would work well in office environments too.

I have the option at work to sit or stand at a desk but have tended to gravitate more to a seated desk. That said, at home Lean has altered my work pattern, I now regularly take video calls standing up using the Lean and feel more energised during these calls. I also tend to stand at the Lean when carrying our shorter tasks like writing emails. Even though it is easy to change to a seated position, I like it as a stand-up desk and where we have positioned it.

We are genuinely thrilled with our experience of the Lean, as it has truly transformed our work-from-home routine. We mostly use it in the stand-up position and have found ourselves to be more energised and productive throughout the day. Not only is it surprisingly sturdy, it’s also a stylish and interesting piece of furniture to have in the home.

  6. Paul Crump

Very comfortable, I found the hight I wanted both sat and standing really easily.

I love the design and the colourways used. The desk has a very cool and contemporary feel to it. I think considering most desks are an eyesore; this desk is actually a nice feature in the home.

I did think once it was in position it looked great, as I said desks are not normally something I would want on show but this one looks great.

It’s a really useful and aesthetically pleasing thing to have in the house. Super easy to set up, goes anywhere you have a flat piece of wall and really helps you diversify your posture when working from home.

  7. Jenny Neary

Our lean desk allowed us to create a versatile workspace with minimal space. Sophisticated engineering and sleek design made it a great addition to our home office while maximising our comfort and concentration.

  8. Nadia Macer-Wright

Used in the office against a wall. Best suited for small spaces, temporary spaces or home office environments. It would also be ideal in cafe environments or hotel lobby spaces.

Ideal for small spaces, sustainable, no cost associated with long term use (such as it’s electric counterpart)

Lean is a very clever design and a great mobile solution for ergonomic setup in small or temporary spaces.
