A better way back to work
September has always felt like a second beginning.
Summer draws to a close. Schools go back. Calendars fill up again. Projects restart. And after a few months of working around holidays, travel and disrupted routines, there’s a natural urge to get things back in order.
Not necessarily to work more. Just to work better.
That’s the thinking behind our September Reset.

Working from home has given many of us more freedom.
But it has also quietly changed our homes.
Laptops arrived on kitchen tables. Monitors moved into spare rooms. Office chairs appeared in bedrooms. Corners that once belonged to living gradually became permanent places of work.
Leandesk began as a response to exactly that problem.
We believe you should be able to work properly at home without your home permanently looking, or feeling, like a workplace.
A desk should give you somewhere good to work when you need it.
And then know when to get out of the way.
Reclaim some space
We often think about furniture in terms of the function it adds.
A table gives us somewhere to eat. A sofa somewhere to sit. A desk somewhere to work.
But furniture also takes something away: space.
That matters particularly at home, where every square metre has more than one job to do.
Leandesk borrows its strength from the building itself rather than relying on the heavy frames, motors and mechanisms found in conventional sit-stand desks.
The result is a workspace that is light, adjustable and deliberately pared back.
When work is finished, it folds almost flat.

Our design philosophy has always started somewhere slightly different.
Do more with less.
Use less material. Add less complexity. Make every element earn its place.
Rather than adding more furniture to make working from home work, perhaps the answer is a workspace that asks less of the room around it.
One that adapts to you during the day, then gives the space back afterwards.
Because a good home workspace shouldn’t require you to reorganise your life around it.
It should fit into the life that is already there.
